The "Volga Birthday Song" (aka the "Mongolian Birthday Song" and the "Birthday Dirge") is a humorous modern tradition within Strowler circles such as the SCA, renaissance faires, and Sci-Fi / Fantasy fandom.
This performance, featuring seventeen verses, was recorded and assembled for the benefit of friends and family, who often ask him to perform it at their celebrations. (The outtakes and B-roll included in the download feature another fourteen verses, and the included text document contains a total of 40 verses.)
